New Life was founded by Paul, who has a deep understanding of what it takes to learn a new language. Having studied Buddhism and learned English in his temple, he has a unique perspective on what it means to master a language. With his passion for education and his commitment to helping others, Paul started New Life to give students the same opportunities he had. 

We have a great team of dedicated teachers who work very hard to educate our students. The teachers come from all walks of life, some have studied English and some are self taught. We have around 30 teachers who travel between both schools. Some of our teachers even prepare meals for the children in the village school in their own break time.

Sa started teaching English in her own front yard in the village of Samrong at age 16. Sa has been dedicated to improving the lives of her entire hometown since she was very young. She was given the chance to change her life by one generous donor and has spent every moment of her life in order to do the same for others. 

We accept volunteers from all over the world who can practice conversational English. The volunteers help with all types of projects including building the schools, gardening, cooking for the village children, handing out medication and teaching English. The students love meeting the new volunteers and learning all about them. It also gives the children extra people to play with at break time!
